摘要

A £12 million pavilion by Thomas Heatherwick, which aims to showcase the "very best of brand Britain" at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, is in disarray following the departure of both the exhibition's designer and curator.rnThe innovative structure -which was selected by the government last September ahead of rival bids from architects including Marks Barfield, Zaha Hadid and John McAslan - will cater for up to 45,000 visitors a day and reflect the festival's theme of sustainable cities.rnBut curator and former ICA director Philip Dodd resigned lastrnweek after a major row with Heatherwick over the exhibition content, according to a source close to the project.
