Brent Council has shortlisted Make, Sheppard Robson, EPR Architects, Hopkins, John McAslan & Partners, BDP and TP Bennett for a landmark civic centre opposite Wembley Stadium.rnThe centre will provide a library and learning centre, community meeting and performance spaces, retail and exhibition space, and offices for up to 2,000 council staff.rnCouncil leader Paul Lorber said it would be at the heart of the wider regeneration of Wembley.rn"A landmark building opposite an internationally renowned stadium, and within this exciting new development will add significant value to the Wembley regeneration project," he said. "It also enables the council to give Brentrnresidents a direct stake in the area, which is set to become a thriving and exciting local, national and international destination."
