Populous arena set for go-ahead

Leeds City Council is expected to approve detailed designs by Populous for the city's new arena next week. Members of the council's executive board will be told that the 12,500-seat scheme is progressing well, on time and within budget and is expected to be completed at the end of 2012 in time for the venue opening early 2013.
