Work starts on site next month on Nicholas Hare's workshop in Essex for the Royal Opera House's backstage team. The 75m-wide workshop is the first of several new buildings planned for the 5-3 ha, ￡60 million production park in Purfleet, Thur-rock, which the practice has also masterplanned.
