Using bespoke architecture, quite often incorporating a feature atrium, is out, and standardisation is very much in. A number of leading contractors have decided that in order to achieve the Government's 30% savings target a standardised building approach is needed. Savings can be made with this approach to construction and figures of between 25% and 60% have been mooted.
