AHMM collared for Met Police's new HQ job

AHMM has been chosen to redesign London's new Met Police HQ following a RIBA design competition. The four shortlisted practices missing out are Allies & Morrison, Foster & Partners, Keith Williams Architects and Lifs-chutz Davidson Sandilands. AHMM's winning design for the Curtis Green building includes a new public entrance pavilion, extensions to the building itself and a series of new public spaces. Paul Monaghan, director at AHMM, said: "This is a very important project for AHMM with the opportunity to work with one of the most significant and longest-established law enforcement bodies in the world.
