TfL to appoint HQ architect

Transport for London is seeking an architect to turn its grade I listed HQ in central London into apartments. A tender invitation has been issued via Ojeu and the winning practice will assess the potential use of 55 Broadway, once TfL staff relocate in 2025. Mike Brown, managing director London Underground and London Rail at TfL, said: "We are committed to securing a future for the building that ensures it remains a valued part of the fabric of London." TfL, which will be leading the planning application, expects to appoint the architect in October.
