Plans for a ￡l20 million overhaul of the Southbank Centre by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios will go for planning this spring in the hope the revamp will be completed by 2017. The proposals include refurbishing the existing 1960s buildings, improving site access, creating new arts spaces including a 12m-high glass pavilion, and building a new slab-like "liner" arts and commercial block.
