BD+C: What Is neuroarchitecture? Eve A. Edelstein; The term derives from neuroscience, the study of the structure of the brain itself. We have borrowed the term to ask how neuroscience can inform our understanding of architecture, how scientific methodology and a deeper understanding of the brain help us understand how we perceive the environment. How our brain responds while it experiences architecture tells us much about how and why we respond to design.
