Established Media Company looking for a Director of Program Development and Operations for new Content Division. Position includes developing and overseeing new original programming as well as day to day division management. Responsible for developing original programming ideas, review of pitches on from outside producers, oversee day to day on all productions (Staffing, Budgets, Production, Post, Legal and Distribution. Requirements: 7-10 years related experience in Program Development; marketing and sales experience; ability to identify shifts and emerging trends in the marketplace; vast industry, networks, distributor, agencies and production company relationships; knowledge of entertainment and programming landscape and original programming deals; experience in managing the day to day production of reality, documentary and scripted programming. Related Bachelor's degree required, MBA and experience with start ups a plus.
