If Barack Obama remains in the Oval Office, the FCC philosophy will continue to be "all broadband, all the time." That may be hyperbole, but not by much. The Obama Administration's communications goals are all about getting everybody online—from the president's support of network neutrality rules, to the administration's target of freeing up 300 MHz of licensed and unlicensed spectrum by 2015 (and 500 MHz by 2020), to his State of the Union pledge to deploy high-speed wireless to 98% of the country within five years.
