What's Next for BXF

In the last 18 months, the Broadcast Exchange Format (BXF) standard, first published in 2008, has become an increasingly important way to integrate automation and traffic and billing systems. Currently live logs, which allow automated changes to the playlist almost up to airtime, are the biggest benefit of BXF integrations, but new versions of the standard are promising additional features.
