USA Network is putting on a full-court press for the off-network launch of Modern Family on Sept. 24, including using the hit comedy to introduce its new daytime programming block.Host Cat Greenleaf (Talk Stoop) will chat with cast members and cocreator Steve Levitan, with the 40-to-60-second spots to air throughout the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. block during Modern Family's first three weeks on USA.The idea is to brand the repeats of Law & Order: SVU, NCIS or CS/that generally air on USA daytime as a destination to spur audience growth, while also helping integrate brands through Greenleaf's promoting clients during spots on her stoop.
