Legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder is being honored with the 2013 Celebration of Service to America Leadership Award for his important work as an activist and Messenger of Peace and for his dedication to helping people with disabilities and children and families in need. One of the most creative musical figures of the late 20th century, Stevie has amassed 32 #1 singles, 49 Top-40 singles, 25 Grammy Awards including the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll and Songwriters' Halls of Fame, was the youngest recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors, is a Commander of France's National Order of Arts and Letters, and became the second recipient of the Library of Congress' Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
