Grenier: Day-and-Date Key for Documentaries

Adrian Grenier, perhaps best known for his role as Vinny Chase, the acting star at the center of the circle of friends in HBO's Hollywood buddy series, Entourage, was in the house at B&C/mcn's On Demand Summit May 8 in New York. Grenier, in an interview with B&C executive editor Dade Hayes, discussed the influence of the on-demand platform on How to Make Money Selling Drugs, the film written and directed by his longtime collaborator and friend Matthew Cooke. After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival last year as an examination of how street dealers rise through the ranks and an expose on the "war on drugs," it will flank its theatrical release on June 21 with an on-demand platform debut that same week across the U.S. The film will then become accessible on other platforms five days later.
