Fox Television Group chief operating officer (1) JOE EARLEY will step down from the post at the end of the year. Earley, who joined the company as a publicist for Fox 21, has served as COO since August 2014. (2) RICKY GERVAIS will return to host the Golden Globes in January. The comedian emceed the annual kudos- fest from 2010-2012. The news comes on the heels of Chris Rock's confirmation as host of the 88th Academy Awards. (3) JANE LYNCH will emcee the 2016 People's Choice Awards on Jan. 6. This is Lynch's first time hosting People's Choice.
