■ (1) MAGGIE MALINA has been appointed to lead scripted for MTV and VH1. Malina, who most recently oversaw VH1's scripted programming, helped launch the Viacom-owned net's Hit the Floor, Single Ladies and Crazy Sexy-Cool: The TLC Story, among others. ■ (2) TYRA BANKS will host the upcoming 12th season of NBC's America's Got Talent. She succeeds Nick Cannon, who announced he was leaving the show last month after ruffling network feathers with comments he made during a standup comedy appearance. ■ WILLOW BAY has been named dean of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Bay, who has been a director of the school since July 2014, was previously a coanchor for ABC's Good Morning America Sunday. She also had stints at Bloomberg TV and The Huffington Post. ■ (3) KATHY ZACHEM has been named an executive VP at Comcast. Zachem, who continues to report to senior executive VP and chief diversity officer David Cohen, heads up regulatory and state legislative affairs. ■ STEPHANIE WEINER is joining Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis as communications and energy practices partner. Weiner is a former senior legal adviser to FCC chairman Tom Wheeler. ■ STEVE HILTON has nabbed his own talk show on Fox News Channel. The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton will join Fox News' Sunday lineup weekly at 9 p.m. ET.
