This year, NHK STRL had a small poster exhibition at the NAB Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center (from 12 to 15 April), and we made public our research roadmap for Super Hi-Vision development. Many visitors to the booth asked us where our Super Hi-Vision theater was this year. Although we had decided not to set up the theatre for this year's show, the visitors' interest in seeing Super Hi-Vision was a sign that people in the broadcasting industry recognize us as one of the major developers of ultrahigh-definition television. We will continue to promote Super Hi-Vision internationally.
