NHK's Latest Broadcasting Technologies Exhibited at IBC2011

The largest broadcasting system exhibition in Europe, IBC2011, took place at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands between September 9lh and September 13*. The exhibition attracted 50,462 visitors. NHK set up exhibits of the latest broadcasting technologies, including ones on Super Hi-Vision (SHV), which it has been developing as a next-generation broadcasting system that conveys a heightened sensation of reality to viewers, and one on the broadcasting-communications service Hybridcast.
