Super Hi-Vision

Super Hi-Vision (SHV) is an advanced, next-generation broadcasting system that is designed to provide an immersive sensation of reality whereby viewers feel like they are actually in the world shown in the image, or as if a real object were actually in front of them. This exhibit outlined the SHV system.We are conducting research with the goal of bringing Super Hi-Vision (SHV) into people's homes. Here, visitors experienced a future home viewing environment consisting of a direct-view SHV flat display with built-in loudspeakers capable of three-dimensional sound reproduction.
