We are advancing R&D on integral 3D display for the future 3D television broadcast service. The integral 3D display reproduces 3D images by means of a lens array consisting of many small lenses in front of the display screen. This arrangement can reproduce the set of light rays originating from the objects, so it produces a natural 3D image that can be viewed without special glasses, just like looking at the real object.
