British Airways (BA) is in talks to join forces with Marks & Spencer to provide travellers with its range of sandwiches and snacks on its flights. The deal is expected to be announced within weeks after details have been finalised, and will bring two of Britain's biggest brands together for the first time. It is understood that BA wanted to team up with a food supplier and had initially approached Waitrose, but industry insiders said the tie-up with M&S was a "perfect match".
