The Stanislaw Markiewicz viaduct in Warsaw is of the few structures in the cityrnto survive the Second World War and the post-war communist period, knownrnas 'ideological restructuring'. The bridge was built at the beginning of the 20thrncentury and has exceptional historical value in that its bearing structure wasrninnovative at the time of its construction. It is made from reinforced concreternand is decorated with Art Nouveau sculptures and architectural themes typical of the time.
