MAPPING WHILST YOU WALK, DRIVE OR FLY

Geospatial technology supplier 3D Laser Mapping has launched a new multi-platform mapping system that the company claims is the first of its kind on the market. The all-round system, named Robin, provides three mapping options in a single solution, allowing users to map areas when walking, driving or flying. The mapping system integrates 12MP (for drive) and 18MP (for walk and fly) cameras, two GNSS antennas, GIS grade IMU navigation system, touch-screen control unit, three mounting systems as well as capture and post-processing software packages. Robin provides a field of view of 330° and long-range and precision versions are also available, along with capture and processing training.
