On a late-March day, under steel-grey skies and surrounded by snow-laced peaks, the streets of Reykjavik were abuzz with talk of design... specifically, those likely to be unveiled at the following month's Salon del Mobile in Milan. Clusters of design journalists gather to predict who will be doing what, where and when, while all around them more than 100 creative, intriguing, off-the-wall, and wonderfully original events were taking place.
