Alkoholmetabolismus in menschlichen Fäzes: Zum Einfluß von Temperatur, pH-Wert und individuellen Faktoren

Fresh samples of human stool were homogenized in buffer solution and incubated with ethanol. Levels of ethanol and secondary substances were determined by gas chromotography. The findings depended on incubation temperature, pH value and individual faecal factors. Decreasing ethanol concentrations were associated with the synthesis of secondary substances. Propanol-1, butanol-1, methanol, isobutanol, ethylacetate, 2- and 3-methylbutanol-1 and ethylmethylketon were found, depending on conditions. The results of the study do not contradict the assumption that secondary substances can be formed from ethanol, but they do not prove it.%Frische menschliche Stuhlproben wurden mit Pufferlösung homogenisiert und mit Ethanol inkubiert; Be-gleitstoffe und Ethanol wurden gaschromatographisch bestimmt. Die Befunde waren von der Inkubationstemperatur, dem pH-Wert und individuellen fäkalen Faktoren abhängig. Der Abfall der Ethanolkonzentration war mit dem Aufbau von Begleitstoffen assoziiert. Es konnte, abhängig von den Konditionen, ein Anstieg von Propanol-1, Butanol-1, Methanol, Isobutanol, Ethylacetat, 2- bzw. 3-Methylbutanol-1 und Ethylmethylketon festgestellt werden. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse widersprechen nicht der Annahme, daß Begleitstoffe aus Ethanol gebildet werden können; Beweis dafür sind sie nicht.
