SOME THOUGHTS ON TIME (PAST AND FUTURE)AND WHAT'S IN THE EDITORIAL HOPPER

For those who don't keep track of such things, let me point out that we're now entering our 10th year of publication. Surprisingly many readers have been with us since the start and now own sizeable collections of B&W. For the fun of it, I measured my own complete set-it occupies 18 inches of shelf space. All those issues add up to 530 Spotlighted photographers (and hundreds more when award winners in our Special Issues are counted). Conclusion: what one keeps doing issue after issue, year after year, adds up. (Check out our back issues ad on page 83 if you feel a need to enhance your own collection).
