DAK Americas ramps up, innovates to maintain market leadership

As domestic and international markets for PET resins, monomers and fibers demonstrate steady growth, DAK Americas continues to lead the way with technology breakthroughs and production expansions. The Charlotte, N.C.-based group recently christened its newly expanded Cape Fear site located near Wilmington, N.C., which will increase its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin production by 450 million pounds. The new facility's additional output brings DAK's total U.S. PET resin production capacity to more than 1.1 billion pounds annually.
