This section of articles in the present issue of Behavior Research Methods is based on the presentations made at the 6th International Conference on Methods and Techniques in Behavioral Research, held at Maastricht, The Netherlands on August 26-29, 2008. The scientific program chair was Andrew Spink, Noldus Information Technology.rnMeasuring Behavior is a periodic conference that provides an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances in behavioral observation and measurement. At this conference, a wide variety of psychologists will mix with ethologists, biologists of different stripes, and applied users of behavioral measurement to provide a lively environment for discourse.
