MASS leads The Field in EW Operational Support

When, in 1983, a small team of engineers celebrated delivering their first consultancy contract from small rented offices in Welwyn Garden City they could not have imagined how changes in secure communications and joint operations over the next quarter of a century would shape and help grow their new company.rnMASS was formed by four partners who, as colleagues at BAe Dynamics in Stevenage, saw the opportunity to supply the UK defence industry with Mathematical and Associated Scientific Services (the origin of the MASS acronym). Malcolm Lowes, one of the original founders, has remained with MASS throughout and has been key to the organisation's development into a successful, diversified, and growing defence company with around 150 staff and a range of associates.
