On August 23rd Reuters reported that the U.S. Army and Marine Corps awarded Hiimvee maker AM General as well as Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT) and Oshkosh Corp (OSK) contracts valued at $56m to $66m to work on prototypes for a new truck to replace the workhorse Humvee.
