The investment environment in Russia

In recent years, investment inflows in Russia have been reasonably good, and comparable to those in other BRIC countries. The appreciation of the rouble in the first quarter of 2010 testifies to the strength of those inflows. Nevertheless, the government and independent experts have expressed concern about the need to increase Russia's investment appeal.
