One of the oldest do-it-yourself tasks for hobbyists is soldering electronic components and light-gauge wire parts together. Joining two pieces of wire is very easy: just add heat and solder, and you're done! But for the haven't-done-it-yet crowd, there's a little more to know. Once you get past ready-to-fly models and begin to build more sophisticated models, you will have to learn about soldering. Here are a few helpful hints to get you started on the right foot!
