Make that cookie-cutter plane your own

Question: ljust recently purchased a foam T-28 for our dub fun race and so did most of the members of my club. On race day there were 16 T-28s lined up, which looked very cool. However, one of the issues we had was telling the planes apart once we got them in the air. I finally just threw on some bright-colored stickers so that I could tell my plane from the rest of those in the air. One of the club members said he tried to paint his plane, but after spraying it, he found that the paint started to dissolve the foam. Is there any way to dress up these planes so that they are a unique-looking aircraft for each individual?
