After years of development, icon Aviation recently released its first sport airplane, the Icon A5. The mission of this Southern California company is to bring freedom, fun, and adventure to all who have dreamed of flight. The FAA's 2004 regulation changes that created the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) regulations have allowed Icon to redefine the possibilities for aviation with their futuristic-looking and unique A5, which weighs 1,430 pounds at takeoff and has a top speed 120mph.
