Durafly Das Ugly Stik Sport

The classic RC sport flyer known as the "Ugly Stik" has been around since the time of proportional-control radios. The original model was designed and built by Phil Kraft (the same guy who produced the U.S. made Kraft radio series), and it was a basic 65-inch-span, testbed used to try out new radio gear. The airplane spawned a whole series of Stick (or Stik) versions, including the smaller "Das Ugly Stik," which almost everyone built and flew in the mid to late 1970s. I have flown many of them and still have a giant-scale 32cc Stik gasser in the hangar.
