Get in the aerobatic zone with this new specimen that goes from box to flight site in less time than it takes to charge a flight pack. Modeled after the Extra 300, this aerobat has quite a few features that make it look and fly great. The all-foam airframe has pretty much everything that you'll need to get it in the air minus your radio system and battery. A 3-cell 1800mAh is recommended, but a 2100 or 2200mAh pack will fit if you already have some of those lying around. A 4-channel transmitter will work fine, but if you have 6 channels at your disposal, I recommend employing them. Simple to set up, Flyzone's Extra 300SX is also lightweight and easy to get to the park or field as it can be broken down for transport. Simplicity is delivered to pilots who acquire the Extra as there are few fasteners to deal with and plenty of good instructions in the manual. Everything from assembly to flight recommendations is covered, with good-quality photos accompanying the verbiage. If you have already flown and are proficient with a trainer airplane, you can fly this bird. Just remember the following when learning new maneuvers: At first, try up high. In the event of a bad landing, the company's rigid AeroCell foam can be easily repaired with CA glue or a similar adhesive and then repainted with some low-cost acrylic paint found at the craft store.
