E-flite/Horizon Hobby Commander mPd

All pilots want a plane that looks like a "real" aircraft and one that can advance as their skills improve. So the E-flite Commander mPd, a foam plane that looks like a full-size sport aircraft and has the advantage of SAFE Technology, is just the ticket. The Commander is available in a Plug-N-Play [PNP] version as well as Bind-N-Fly [BNF] Basic, which is the version I reviewed. The BNF Basic box includes everything you need for flight with the exception of the transmitter and battery (and charger]. There is a total of eight parts to assemble; none of them requires any glue but you will need a Phillips screwdriver. The aircraft will bind with any DSM2- or DSMX-compatible transmitter.
