The competition is heated for those pursuing work in marketing fields, with executives interviewing an average of seven candidates for every open position, according to a new study from marketing staffing services company the Creative Group. The company's "Creative Group Hiring Index for Marketing and Advertising Professionals" was based on more than 500 telephone interviews of client-side marketers and agency executives.
