Sustainability as a community issue

The sixth National Regeneration Convention took place at Sheffield Hallam University on 18-20 July and attracted more than 600 delegates. With 165 speakers engaging with delegates from partnerships, local and national government, housing associations and consultancies, the Convention is the forum for those involved in regeneration to share experiences and discuss policy, practice and new approaches. The theme for this year's event was 'Making Neighbourhoods Sustainable' and the many plenary and workshop debates focused on the mechanisms necessary for delivery -in particular on services, skills and governance.
