British Airways (BA) is continuing to modernise its fleet with both new and upgraded aircraft. The sixth of 18 Boeing 747400s earmarked for a major makeover, G-CIVR (c 25820), returned to service on February 6. Earlier BA accepted two new aircraft deliveries - its 11th Airbus A380, G-XLEK (c 194), and its sixth 787-9 G-ZBKF (c 38622). Troy Warfield, British Airways' Director of Customer Experience said: "We know our customers appreciate the investment we are making in new aircraft, and refurbishing the much-loved 747s is also helping to make flying with British Airways an even more enjoyable and relaxing experience."
