WestJet rolls out the MAX

Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet is to introduce its Boeing 737 MAX 8 on November 8, putting the type into service on flights from its Calgary, Alberta, home to Vancouver and Toronto. As the fleet grows, the airline will introduce the 180-seat jet on flights from Toronto to Las Vegas (from March 9), Calgary to Palm Springs (from April 12) and Toronto to Edmonton (from April 14).
