It started out as a presentation management system designed for use across large organisations or campuses. Then a variant was launched as a laptop presentation tool. Since then it has been expanded to allow presenters to annotate their presentations on the fly (using a normal display not an interactive board). Now the 3touch control suite - developed in Athlone, Ireland - has re-emerged as software that can not only cohere presentations (and allow bosses to track their use), but also control equipment, and provide room scheduling. Using the latest add-on, myVRM (videoconferencing resource management) it can also reserve bridge ports and automatically set up video calls. Like other control software now available, it is beginning to bridge the gap between device and content control, facilities management and videoconferencing call set up.
