The protective moldings atop the side rails and tailgate surrounding the cargo box on the Ford Explorer Sport Trac are injection molded by Russellville, KY-based Ventra Plastics, a Tier 1 supplier of high-precision molded and painted plastic systems and components for the automotive industry. Ventra also molds the Sport Trac tailgate liner.
