Visions from industry's heartland

Located in the heart of industrial England, Coventry University provides the opportunity, within its undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in transport design, to specialise in a range of subjects covering automotive, marine craft, commercial vehicle, aeronautical and public transport design. The course works closely with industry and in the past two years has had students move on to become designers for Citroeen, Nissan, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Toyota and Isuzu. The three-year honours degree was set up 25 years ago. More recent additions are a masters degree in transport design, which lasts four years and includes a professional training placement, and an MA in automotive design. Research is also carried out into automotive design.
