For the last few years Grand Prix racing has been dominated by four teams — Williams, Ferrari, McLaren and Benetton, but a fifth has been knocking hard on the door. This season, though, expectations are sky high that it will finally join the exclusive club, maybe even displacing one of the elite group, although Eddie Jordan, founder and team owner of Jordan Grand Prix, notorious for his highly optmistic remarks in the past, is now keeping tight lipped. The onus that is falling on technical director Gary Anderson's shoulders is nevertheless great. When you have the likes of the 1996 world champion in your team, the spotlight is on you and the stakes are considerably higher. However, the inclusion of Damon Hill into the team is but one factor, for this year the cars are completely different from those that competed last year due to the new technical regulations. And if that was not enough, the team has swopped the Peugeot V10 for the Mugen Honda V10.
