Comments on 'A generalization of Kharitonov's concept for robust stability problems with linearly dependent coefficient perturbations'

It is shown by example that the main theorem in the above paper by B.R. Barmish (see ibid., vol.34, p.157-65 (1989)) may lead to an erroneous D-stability conclusion for certain polynomials among the ones considered. Suggestions are presented and discussed.
