The brand-new 4.5-liter V-8 diesel engine has been developed for the premium sports-utility vehicle (SUV) and commercial vehicle. The designs are modular to 2.2-liter L-4 diesel engine, which has been produced since 2005, for efficient development and production. To meet the demands for premium SUV markets, the best-in-class high output performance, low fuel consumption and excellent acoustics performance were achieved.
