Stop/start systems and hybrid drive technology significantly reduce fuel consumption. But they also involve switching the engine on and off more frequently. Because this needs to be done efficiently and without impairing comfort, rapid starting is moving into the developers' focus more and more. The increased demands have been fully met as part of an IAV project.
