In the EU, the private eCall system is allowed to coexist with the public eCall system that goes live in April 2018. One big future challenge of the private eCall providers is the implementation of the digital data transfer to the Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP). Bosch is working on a set of technical solutions to deal with the high heterogeneity of European national PSAP systems.
